The Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners is inviting residents to share their input as the county begins its search for a new permanent County Manager.

An anonymous online survey is now available for residents to provide feedback on the leadership qualities, skills, and priorities they believe are most important for the county’s next top administrator. The survey includes six brief, open-ended questions and is available through February 16.

Responses will be collected and summarized by Developmental Associates, the consulting firm managing the hiring process. All individual responses will remain anonymous and will not be shared directly with county officials.

This public input effort is part of a structured hiring process approved by the Board of Commissioners, which includes candidate screening, interviews, and skills-based assessments. The full process is expected to take nine to ten weeks.
